My husband and I are both professional photographers with photojournalism degrees from the University of Florida, so finding our wedding photographer was fairly easy. We knew right away that Jeff and Sabrina were our number one choice hands down.  We booked them before we even had set a wedding date or location.  We love their professionalism, style, attention to detail, and dedication.

Amazingly, it's been over five years since you photographed our wedding in Gainesville.  A friend of mine is getting married soon in Colorado, and it made me think about our wedding, so I wandered over to your website. I'm excited that you have continued shooting weddings--there's no better photography studio in Gainesville, in my opinion!    It was great reading the bio stories about the last five years and of course your wedding and your growing family--congratulations!  We've been out of Gainesville for four years (in Dallas, TX), but try to get back as often as we can.  I just wanted to send a brief message to say that I hope you both are absolutely wonderful.  But above all thank you for making our wedding so memorable--not merely because the photos tell the story and capture the moment in crystallized form--but because you were a part of it, you helped make the day even better, and your presence there is something we remember and enjoy thinking about.  The photos themselves are of course awesome, but so are our memories of working with such a great team that really expresses the joy that life has to offer.

We could not have picked a better photographer for many reasons.  My fiancé and I lived in Gainesville, so for all you Gainesville residents the location is great.  It made it very easy to meet with them or set up appointments on my lunch break or when my fiancé got off work.  For all you non-Gainesville residents, we moved to Jacksonville immediately after the wedding and we were not able to just run by their studio when we needed something.  They have been great as far as email and phone correspondence.  Making sure that they got proofs to us and we are getting my wedding album wrapped up as soon as possible. 

Jeff and Sabrina are great people and were a joy to work with.  The wedding day was not stressful but it was very busy.  The timeline that they created to ensure we got all photos taken and in a timely matter made certain the organization of the day went as planned.   

The most important reason we are thrilled we used JS Photo was the outcome.  Both our engagement and wedding photos are so beautiful, our satisfaction is 100%.  It has been so hard to pick prints because they are all so amazing (Not a bad problem to have).  The combination between the photojournalistic approach and your traditional photos it is truly a work of art.  We are so excited to get our wedding album!

JS Photography did an amazing job with my wedding photography! They met with me several times before the wedding and were very patient with answering all my questions and really making me feel like I could trust them and that they were going to do their best to make my day perfect. I never felt like I was inconveniencing them and they always made me feel at home at their studio. 

 I did a lot of research on photographers before my wedding. Since I grew up in Gainesville I really got a lot of feedback from others I knew who had already gotten married in Gainesville and I kept hearing the same name come up again and again. When it comes to photography, you really do get what you pay for and I heard so many people tell me how glad they were that they went with JS photography for their wedding because they took care of everything and made it fun. I found this to be entirely true. JS had worked with most of my other vendors before and when it came down to the wedding day everything was planned out and went seamlessly. It really made a difference that they knew what they were doing and because of it my pictures were breathtaking. It was a blessing that we found Jeff and Sabrina. We had another photographer set up for the wedding but after seeing our engagement pictures, we panicked. Being an artist and a photographer made it very difficult to pick someone to shoot our wedding. We did not want the same, cheesy posed photographs that everyone took. When our oldest daughter, Erin got engaged in March of 2004, I began interviewing photographers. Of all those I spoke with, Jeff and Sabrina made me feel the most comfortable. My daughter and her fiance lived in Houston, Texas so there would be little opportunity for them to meet with Jeff. Not a problem. We were able to convey to Jeff exactly what they wanted. Erin and Jason had a traditional Gainesville wedding and Jeff captured the spirit of our beautiful southern March day to a tee. He was so light hearted and fun to work with. He created some of the most loving and vital images I have ever seen; treasures to last a lifetime.

Needless to say when our second daughter became engaged in 2006 and decided on a Florida wedding, there was no need to interview anyone else. I called Jeff immediately and set the date. Lauren and Scott decided on a Florida beach destination wedding. We traveled to Amelia Island and with magnificent views of the marshes of Amelia as a backdrop; Jeff again created a masterful memory for our families.

When planning for our daughter Suzanne’s wedding, we had the extreme fortune to find Jeff and Sabrina at JS Photography. We had talked with several photographers but we believe that Jeff and Sabrina are the very best photographers to be found anywhere!!!!! From the time that we first met them until the end of the wedding and reception, we never questioned our decision to choose them as our photographer’s. They are professionals extraordinary and know their business completely. Jeff was the primary photographer for the wedding and from the minute he arrived at our home to begin the process of filming Suzanne and our family, we knew without a shadow of a doubt that we were in for a very special treat. Words are inadequate to describe the professionalism, efficiency, uniqueness, and quality that we experienced with every minute that they were performing their “magic” with the photography.

One amazing fact about the photography was that they worked without being invasive and most of the time we forgot that they were present. Only when we finally had the opportunity to review the multitude of pictures that were taken were we able to totally realize how much work went into the photography on our behalf. We had no idea that half of the pictures had even been taken. Jeff was able to document the total wedding preparation, the wedding, and the reception in a creative manner that provides us with memories to last a lifetime! Then about a month after our wedding we attended the wedding of some friends and Jeff was the photographer at that wedding. We had the ability to watch Jeff in action and more fully realized all of the hard work that he puts into the photography process. We have had friends tell us that they have never seen a wedding photographed so completely, creatively, and professionally.

In conclusion, we want to convey that we would recommend JS Photography 200%! We are ever grateful for the opportunity that we had to work with Jeff and Sabrina and believe that we are the recipients of the most professional and high quality wedding photography ever to be obtained!
